96 new cell places shall be established in Eidsberg prison, with the accompanying activating and administrative functions. This will partly be carried out as traditional construction and partly as modules and it is included in the turnkey contract K201 Module prison. This contract has been signed with Skanska husfabrikken AS.Turnkey contract K202 Additional functions shall be procured. This covers the following work:— Establishment of a new building, gate building of two floors and a basement, with, amongst other things, visitor, visits, duty and office functions;— Establishment of a new building, technical building of one floor with, amongst other things, a shop, garage/workshop, stores, waste and technical (main distribution board/network station) functions;— Altering the existing workshop building of one floor to a gym hall/exercise room;— Alterations to the ground floor of brick and wooden buildings;— Establishment of new perimeter security in two layers around the prison (approx. 900 m in total);— Development of the outdoor area in accordance with a new situation plan;— Establishment of electronic security in the area.
