The Sports Department procured swimming articles for further sale for approx. 800 000 NOK in 2013. The contracting authority will enter into a framework agreement with a supplier for the delivery of swimming articles to swimming pools for sale to our visitors. The extent of the framework agreement can vary somewhat, based on the department's need and budget. One of the characteristics of a framework agreement is that the assignments and the volume of assignments are not concretised when the contract is signed. Call-offs will take place as and when the contracting authority's needs materialise. The contracting authority has the management and operational responsibility for 7 indoor swimming pools and 2 outdoor swimming pools. The contracting authority has, in addition, operational responsibility for 2 swimming pools that are owned by Undervisningsbygg Oslo KF. The need for swimming articles such as swimming goggles, swimwear and swimming toys for sale at the swimming pools is connected to the swimming pools under the Sports Department.
