The area requirement (the new building) mainly comprises offices for administration and subject teachers, teaching rooms, including a large auditorium and café/lunch bar These areas shall be suitable for all departments at Gjøvik University College (HiG). The requirement also includes workshop halls and laboratories with large headroom.The engineering design shall aim at a gross area of up to 5 000 m², and the room plan's functions must be safeguarded.The new building shall be planned and constructed within a maximum cost frame of 165 000 000 NOK including VAT, options and estimates for work based on a cost-plus basis. Tenderers requiring a higher contract sum will be rejected.
