A separate contract for the foundation works in the project is implemented and will be completed in October 2015.In 2002 the Ministry for Education and Research gave Statsbygg the task of commissioning plans for a MH2 building for UiT. The preliminary project was completed in 2009 and in December 2013 the Norwegian parliament granted money to the project for the task of commissioning the detailed engineering design services for and the construction of the subsequent building.The new building is approx. 20 000 m² and it shall be connected to the existing MH. In addition to the new building, approx. 2 000 m² of the existing areas shall also be reconstructed/renovated.The contract shall be executed as general contracting in accordance with NS8405 (Norwegian Standard 8405) with supplementation of Statsbygg's contractual regulations for contracts (The Blue book based on NS 8405).

Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
The tenderer is required to have a legally established company.
Company Registration Certificate, foreign companies are required to have an equivalent certificate in the country where the company is registered, alternatively StartBANK ID.
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
It is required that the tenderer has sufficient financial implementation ability.
The extent of the turnover will also be emphasised.
Complete financial statements for the last year, including the audit report, alternatively StartBANK ID.
Statsbygg reserves the right to carry out a credit appraisal of all the tenderers.
2 tax certificates and fee certificates shall be submitted:
— Tax certificate (tax, advanced payment, attachment of earnings, employer contributions);
— VAT certificate.
Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:
Tenderers are required to have sufficient experience from assignments with a transferable value to this project.
A description shall be provided, of approx. 1 A4 page per project, for up to 3 reference projects with a transferable value, including information on, amongst i.a.:
— the project name;
— contracting authority;
— the project's size in m² and cost;
— type of building;
— the assignment's contract value excluding VAT;
— type of contract;
— the start-up date and completion date (year)/if not completed — where 1 is in the project.

Prosedyre
Objektive utvelgelseskriterier:
The participants will be assessed in relation to the given qualification requirements. Tenderers that are not considered to comply with the qualification requirements will be rejected. These participants will therefore not be invited to submit tenders to the contest.
