Statsbygg would like, in connection with the project: no.: 1017801Name: UiT Medisin- og Helsefag trinn 2 (MH2)to implement a qualification process for tenderers who may be interested in submitting tenders for general contracting. A separate contract for the foundation works in the project is implemented and will be completed in October 2015.In 2002 the Ministry for Education and Research gave Statsbygg the task of commissioning plans for a MH2 building for UiT. The preliminary project was completed in 2009 and in December 2013 the Norwegian parliament granted money to the project for the task of commissioning the detailed engineering design services for and the construction of the subsequent building.The new building is approx. 20 000 m² and it shall be connected to the existing MH. In addition to the new building, approx. 2 000 m² of the existing areas shall also be reconstructed/renovated.The contract shall be executed as general contracting in accordance with NS8405 (Norwegian Standard 8405) with supplementation of Statsbygg's contractual regulations for contracts (The Blue book based on NS 8405).
