The Eastern Sami museum is located in Sør-Varanger municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. The museum is a new building and an exhibit shall be established that shows the Skolte Sami's culture and history. As a part of the establishment of the exhibition, Statsbygg would like, as the owner of the building, to establish climatised display cases in order to take care of the objects that shall be exhibited. Many of the historical objects that shall be exhibited are very old and have special requirements for climatic conditions so that they are properly maintained. Statsbygg would like to procure airtight display cases with a system for active and passive climatisation so as to take care of the objects in the best possible way. 2 technical installations are wanted, that will regulate the climate in 2 closed systems consisting of several display cases, with each of the systems having a different climate. 1 system requires a relative humidity of RH 50 +/- 5 %, and the other system requires a relative humidity of RH 25 +/- 5 %. The technical system shall not regulate the temperature. In addition to the primary technical installations, equivalent backup installations are wanted as safeguards for stoppages. Statsbygg would like manufacturers who have documented qualified experience from the delivery of equivalent systems. The delivery shall include the airtight display cases and the technical installations that are necessary to achieve a satisfactory climate. The contract also includes assembling the display cases and the technical installations in the museum, as well as a trial operation and documented stable operation over time.We would like to have easy physical access to the display cases and the technical systems connected to the display cases. At the same time, both the display cases and the technical systems must have a high level of security. The display cases shall be integrated in a planned system in the exhibition, which is fixed in advance by an associated exhibition architect. The display cases must therefore be dimensioned and designed in cooperation with the exhibition architect. The total number of display cases will be 39, for a total of 268 large and small objects. The size of the stands will vary.
