Statsbygg has received an assignment from The Ministry of Education and Research (Kunnskapsdepartementet) for detailed engineering design and execution of rehabilitation of large parts of Norges Idrettshøgskole (The Norwegian School of Sport Sciences) at Sogn in Oslo.The contract comprises the rehabilitation of approx. 16 000 m², an extension of approx. 600 m² and an addition of approx. 800 m².The exact areas are stipulated in the description in the tender documentation.The indoor swimming pool at The Norwegian School of Sport Sciences is preserved unconditionally and the gym buildings are protected.The execution of the rehabilitation project must therefore be done in close consultation and co-operation with the antiquities authorities.The project shall mainly be executed as a general contract, but with some separate parallel contracts.This tender invitation and contest concern the named general contract, contract K203.
