The relocation of Veterinærinstituttet and the joint localisation of NMBU at Campus Ås gives a unique possibility to develop an eminent milieu for education and research within Life Sciences in Norway. The merger of the institutions to one new university and proximity to Veterinærinstituttet shall allow for an expert professional environment where professional synergies and an identity creating, future orientated and broad professional community are in focus.The total area of the new buildings are approx. 63 000 m² In order to exploit the fall in the terrain, from east to west, a basement is planned — ‘the Base’ — with an area of approx. 28 000 m². The areas in the Base are mainly for animal facilities, morphology and laboratories as well as goods reception and areas for handling waste and purifying water. Most of the functions in the Base are on floor U2, whilst floor U1 is a technical middle floor. U3 is mainly a culvert system for conveying technical installations as well as for inspection/maintenance. The buildings otherwise include laboratories, animal hospital and horse clinic in addition to general study areas and office work spaces.

Tenderers are required to have sufficient and financial implementation ability. The extent of the turnover will also be emphasised.

Statsbygg reserves the right to carry out a credit appraisal of all tenderers.
2 tax certificates and VAT certificates shall be submitted:
— Tax certificate (tax, advanced payment, attachment of earnings, employer contributions);
— VAT certificate.
Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:
The tenderer is therefore required to have sufficient capacity to be able to implement the contractual works.
The tenderer must have considerable competence and experience from Safety, Health and work environment consultancy in large and complex construction projects.
Overview of the number of employees in the company, divided between administration and production.
References from maximum 3-5 contracting authorities the previous 3 years, including information of the contracting authority, the size of the project, time of execution. A statement of the company's Safety, Health and work environment competence. This point does require information on name of individuals or CVs.
