Tittel: Water-main refurbishment construction work

The contract shall include rigging, freight, pipes, pipe parts, welded parts and unblocking/drawing.All drilling and drawing pits will be uncovered and prepared in advance.The municipality will have 1-2 men at the site, these can help with the work.The builder/contracting authority will itself see to all excavation work, all water connections in manholes, connection to private service pipes, concrete adjustment rings, cast iron frame with lid, temporary water supply, waste treatment and chlorinating/pressure testing/camera operations.The planned start will be week 34, the site period will be approx. 4 weeks.Week 1 is for connections to temporary water supply as well as upgrading drawing pits and drilling.Week 2 is for the actual unblocking/drawing.Week 3 is for connections to service pipes, welding manholes and chlorinating/pressure testing.Week 4 is for refilling and touching up.Tenderers ought to use the first week for rigging and welding pipes.Butt welding shall be used for welding PE-pipes. EL-sockets can be used for the connection of manholes.All welding shall be carried out by NEMKO certified welders.See the tender documents.
