The University College in Oslo and Akershus (henceforth referred to as HiOA) wishes to enter into a 2 year framework agreement with option for 1 year + 1 year prolongation. The agreement includes services related to subscription management, databases and accompanying supplementary services. Periodicals are to be supplied in both printed and electronic format, with an emphasis on the latter.
The extent of the agreement varies based on HiOA's consecutive requirements. In 2014 the HiOA's consumption is estimated to:
- Directly database subscriptions; 2 200 000 NOK.
- Joint venture subscriptions: 3 600 000 NOK.
- Individual subscriptions for periodicals: 2 200 000 NOK.
Presently the 21 joint venture agreements are through Cristin or the Health Library. These agreements include 8 publishing firm packages. This is an estimate only, and is not to be considered as binding for the contracting authority. The extent of the agreement may increase as HiOA shall offer library services to new cooperating institutions. The products shall be delivered to all of HiOA's addresses and HiOA uses the library system at all times used by Bibsys. HiOA wishes to communicate the databases through as few interfaces as possible. HiOA shall provide information of databases that can continue HiOA's existing agreements, cf. appendix 4 for overview of databases that can continue HiOA's existing agreements.
