The bridge is part of RV 3 and must be replaced due to its condition. Because of the high speed that the traffic keeps through the village the contract also preforms local environmental measures on the RV 3. Its abutments is to be of concrete, its bridgedeck of lightweight concrete, and the trussed arches of laminated wood. The connectorrods is to be of hanging steel rods. During the construction the traffic uses the temporary bridge. The temporary bridge it to be dismantled, demolished and removed after the traffic is lead on to the new bridge. Development of RV 3: 750 m of RV 3 through the village is to be developed from having an impression of a main road to having an impression of a street. Line of the road is to be corrected. It is to be carried out renewal of stormwater facilities, renewal of municipal water and sewer systems, and taking into account, less restructuring and extensive restructuring of Telenors and North Østerdal powercompanys cable network. It is to be established greenery and re-established farmland. By the Aukrustsenter it is to be established elliptical roundabout. It is to be built 500 m new county and municipal road.
