Research program on domestic violence

Good and relevant research is essential for good policy formation. The government will strengthen research efforts by establishing a new research program on domestic violence in Norway.
In 2004 the government set up a national knowledge centre on violence and traumatic stress (NKVTS). Justis- and beredskapsdepartementet( The Justice and Public Security department) co-finance the centre. One of the main areas for NKVTS' research is domestic violence. Through the establishment of a new research program, Justis- og beredskapsdepartementet strengthen research in the field of domestic violence by also giving other research environments, in addition to NKVTS, a role in this area.
The contract will have a perspective of 5 years. The framework for the contract will be 5 million kroner including VAT per year, subject to Stortingets (Norwegian Parliament's) annual budgetary procedure.
The contract will assigned to 1 institution. Collaboration with NKVTS is a prerequisite for the final appropriation and will pave the way for collaboration with other research institutions.

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:
Qualification requirement: The supplier must have experience with research on domestic violence. Documentation requirement: Description of the supplier's experience from research on domestic violence (and other research considered relevant to the assignment).The description must include a statement of the individual assignment values, time frames and recipients (name, telephone and email). References must be contactable if required for clarification of the relevance of the individual assignees and in relation to the selection criteria (refer point 5).However, it is the tenderer's responsibility to provide a description documenting relevance. Qualification requirement: The supplier shall have sufficient execution capability and capacity. Documentation requirement: Statement of the suppliers research expertise in the field of domestic violence and other research expertise which may be considered relevant to the contract. The statement shall include a list of the relevant publications. Qualification requirement: The services that are to be supplied must have a good, well-functioning quality assurance system Documentation requirement: Statement regarding the supplier's quality assurance system/ management system
