Project 8509 swimming pool and upgrading Frognhallen technical building consultancy services

Frogn Kommune

The municipal council in Frogn municipality has decided that a swimming pool shall be constructed in Drøbak, which shall be connected to Frognhallen and Frognhallen shall be upgraded. The approved sketch project for the swimming pool (attached) consists of a sports pool of 25 m and eight lanes. A diving board/tower (1 m, 3 m and 5 m) will be integrated into the sports pool. In addition to the sports pool, a therapy pool, children's pool, water slides (including one that is 80 m long and has an eight metre fall), a counter current channel and wave pool shall be built. There will be a joint entrance with Frognhallen and a joint cafeteria/catering area is to be established. The building's 2 floor will have approx. 1 100 m² and will be rented out. Frogn municipality has, thus, started to map interested parties who would like to enter into a long term rental agreement for the rent of these premises.
