Procurement of farming catamaran/working boat

Havbruksstasjonen i Tromsø AS

Traditional two hull farming catamaran/working boat for use with cage work, mooring, anchor handling and other work associated with operation of a farming facility. The boat will be used in the Tromsø area and must be able to withstand cold climate and exposed conditions. The boat will be built according to the Nordisk Båt Standard (NBS) for working boats under 15 metres or better, and satisfy the requirements of future regulations for construction and supervision for smaller cargo vessels which are now being heard. Main Structures and propulsion system will be tested in the farming industry. The vessel shall have a singular continuous deck and obvious deck house at the front and machine room aft. Awarding will be on the basis of which tender is most economically advantageous. In addition to price, operations and maintenance costs, emphasis will also be placed on the quality and safety including functional solutions, suitability, tidy and functional location of equipment and aesthetic design. The boat must be delivered prior to 15.12.2014.

The supplier shall have the financial capacity to complete the assignment. The supplier must be a legally established enterprise.The supplier shall have a functioning HSE system.

Økonomisk og finansiell stilling: The supplier shall have arranged conditions regarding payment of tax and VAT.
Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:

The supplier must have experience from deliveries of working boats (as described in point 1.2 of the tender documentation) for use in fish farming facilities in cold and exposed waters during the last 5 years. The supplier shall have sufficient execution capability and capacity. A good and well-functioning quality assurance system is required for the services that will be provided. There must be a service unit for engine, drive line, electrical equipment and hydraulic systems in nearby areas. There must be a user manual and service manual in Norwegian for the boat and equipment.
