Procurement of electrical energy for the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund

The aim of the procurement is to enter into a contract with a supplier to ensure SPK electrical energy.
SPK would like to enter into a contract with a supplier who has good routines and experience with the delivery of electrical energy.
The offices of SPK are presently located in Slemdalsveien 37 at Frøen in Oslo. SPK shall move into new premises in April 2015.
A contract has been signed for the rent of 9 200 m² in Verkstedveien 1, (previously Drammensveien 134) plus 450 m² for storage, archive and computer rooms in the basement.
The Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund shall use the second and third floors.
The canteen shall be shared with the rest of the tenants. Parts of the auditorium and meeting room ares will also be joint.
Any questions that the tenderer has about the tender documentation shall be sent in good time via the communication module in Mercell, by the deadline stated in chapter 2.5.
All questions that SPK recieves will be answered and made available for all tenderers via the Mercell portal, in anonymised form.
SPK reserves the right to reject all questions that SPK consider as irrelevant or leading. All information from SPK that tenderers recieve in another way than that described above will, with a view to the evaluation and contract, be seen to have not be given.
The Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund (SPK) is the largest provider of public service pensions in Norway.
SPK is under the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and our framework terms are set by the Norwegian parliament.
We administer pension rights of NOK 432 billion on behalf of the government for 1 600 entities and for more than one million previous and current employees in the government, schools, research, pharmacies and organisations.
In 2013 we paid NOK 22.8 billion in pensions.
Membership in SPK is obligatory for government employees. Other entities with associations to public services, for example, governmental companies, are voluntary customers.
Their employees are, therefore, members in the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund.
In addition to old-age pensions, SPK offers disability pensions, bereaved pensions, good insurance schemes and favourable mortgage loans.
SPK is also a major provider of pension courses and we manage the pension fund for all the pharmacies in Norway.
The Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund has approx. 400 employees.
