Procurement of a small children's book bus

Tromsø municipality c/o the Library and Town Archive, would like to enter into a contract for the procurement and delivery of a small children's book bus for use in Tromsø and surrounding municipalities. The bus shall first visit schools and nurseries in a wide geographical area. The bus will meet challenges, especially in the winter, from large snow falls and icy roads.
The bus shall replace a previously built book bus, which will be phased out after this procurement.
The bus is driven and run by a library employee, who undertakes the driving and daily maintenance of the bus as well as operation of the library part. The book bus also has a contract with 2 of our neighbouring municipalities. The size of the schools varies from the smallest schools with approx. 25 pupils to the largest that have up to 500 pupils. Our users are therefore mainly from nursery age up to and including secondary school pupils. On some routes there are two library employees to serve the bus. It is important that the design of the bus is easy to drive and easy to operate, so that work in the bus does not create unnecessary wear and tear. The bus is driven approx. 10 000 km per annum.
The contract is for the manufacture and delivery of the children's book bus, as well as subsequent service and repairs, see annex 8.
