Procurement 88/2014 — On-line water network model

The aim of the procurement is to increase competence in the management and operation of the water supply in the town through the use of a model tool for an On-line water network model. VAV currently has good experiences with an Off-line model tool and would now like to use an On-line model tool that uses signals from existing remote control installations in the calculations.
The On-line water network model is expected to give a better overview of the situation in the water supply than the remote control and Off-line water network model have separately.
VAV would therefore like to procure an On-line model tool for the water pipeline network and to improve:
— Monitor water consumption,
— Discover the development in water leaks earlier,
— Increase knowledge of the operational conditions in the water pipeline network,
— Training in the operation of the water pipeline network,
— Increase the decision basis in stand-by situations.
