Post Norge AS, Divisjon Logistikk Norge, intends to co-localise the handling of packages and general cargo (pallets) in a new terminal outside Trondheim. The new terminal will be able to operate from the middle of 2016. The plan is to install a new and modern sorting system for automatic sorting of packages.
It is estimated that the sorting system must give a practical capacity of 4 000-6 500 packages per hour, depending on the period/production window that is decided.
