In recent years, OSL [Oslo Airport] has carried out air treatment/maintenance works, and air treatment contracts for approximately 20 million per year.
In addition, please note that up to 3 parallel framework agreements will be signed within this special field.
— Call offs on framework agreements for assignments according to man-hour rates/quoted standard prices will only be made to the winner of the competition.
— Mini competitions will be carried out for assignments that do not use man-hour rates/ quoted standard prices. The mini-competitions will be announced by OSL sending out a description of the relevant assignment to all contractors with framework agreements. Call offs will be made to the winner of the mini competition.
The buildings at OSL are complex, and include the Terminal building, tower-and security building, operations building, office building etc. from the main expansion in 1998, but also the old terminal building and hangers which originated before/during the 2nd world war. The variation in buildings is therefore considerable and many of the buildings have ceiling heights which place stringent demands on the crew and equipment.
In addition to operational related assignments, a significant portion of the assignments will involve reconstruction and establishment of commercial areas in the terminal and preparatory work in connection with the T2 development (the terminal is being expanded by 117,000 m2), the assignments will usually take place in parallel. In common for these assignments is the requirement of ability to implement the assignments in a short time/ - to the agreed time and quality. OSL regards the contractors' construction management and follow-up of the assignments as a very important parameter for success.
To avoid operational disruptions it is at times and for some assignments necessary to carry out the works of an evening/night. The businesses must therefore have sufficient capacity to assign a suitable crew on the night and following day.
