Mass spectrometers and liquid chromatograph

Tenders are requested for two different mass spectrometers connected respectively to a liquid chromatograph for reverse phase and normal phase chromatography and a supercritical fluid chromatography system (SFC) with use of carbon dioxide (CO2) as the main mobile phase.
Both mass spectrometer systems shall be used for quantifying of the body's own compounds and foreign compounds such as pharmaceuticals with metabolites, various narcotic/toxicological compounds and new persistent organic pollutants. Several of these compounds exist in extremely low concentrations (sub-nanomol/L) in the human body and the analytes have low to moderate molecular weight. As there is often limited availability of testing materials, the tendered systems must have ultra high sensitivity for the various groups of analytes. SFC connected to the tendered mass spectrometers should make it possible to quickly detect and quantify structural analogues such as isomers, enantiomers/diastereomers in complex biological mixtures.
