Fusa municipality. TD, announces an open tender competition for the purchase of winter maintenance of municipal roads and other trafficked outdoor areas in Fusa Municipality.The assignment comprises the hiring of tractors, lorries, machinery with operators, and equipment for snow removal, sanding and salting of municipal roads, residential streets, sidewalks, pedestrian and bicycle paths according to the description of assigned areas, see Part II of Annex 1 and the requirements of the priorities as described in Part II Annex 1The road network covered by the assignment consists of approximately 80 km of roads, divided into seven assigned areas. For details, see the description of assigned areas in Part II of Annex 1 Parts of the property and parking areas in Eikelandsosen are not included in this contract.The attached assigned areas describe agreed performance in terms of areas (roads and parking) to be cleared, sanded/salted and swept. The description of assigned areas will be a part of the upcoming contract/agreement document.The official snow clearing season runs from 01 November to 31 March. Snow clearing outside of this period will be ordered specially, as needed.The assignment will be in force from 11.1.2014 through 31.3.2018 with an option for the contracting authority to extend one or more times for further two years, totalling a maximum of six years. Any extension of the contract must be triggered at least 3 months before expiration of the agreement.Agreements with one or more vendors may be signed for all or some assigned areas.
