Hiring of consultants within the IT area

The County Governor (Fylkesmannen) of Oslo and Akershus (hereafter FMOA) is carrying out a tender competition with the aim to enter into framework agreements with several suppliers to cover the need for assistance in the form of hired consultants within the IT area. The agreement will have a duration for up to four years and be valid from the 1.5.2014.
The service consists of procuring qualified consultants for shorter or longer assignments associated with tasks of varying complexity and scope. The number of suppliers is limits to up to four suppliers.
FMOA will through this competition request expertise associated with the systems and solutions that the IT section of FMOA is responsible for.
To assist the daily operation, FMOA asks for tenders from experienced senior consultants who have good knowledge in one or several of the areas below:
— Microsoft Server (Active Directory, System Centre, SQL etc.)
— Microsoft clients and associated software (Windows, Office etc.)
— SAN storage (Dell PowerVault MD3620F)
— VMware
— Databases (Oracle and MS SQL server)
— Network (HP switches and Meru wireless network)
— Checkpoint firewall
— Symantec Backup Exec
— EMC DataDomain
By experienced senior consultants meaning consults who have a minimum of five years experience within the area and who can document expertise through certifications.
FMOA seeks to enter into framework agreements with the suppliers who can best cover the areas as described above.
The tender shall be delivered via the Mercell portal: http://no.mercell.com/
Tenderers will be sent a system generated email with the following test: ‘Confirmation that tender is delivered’. Copy of the email can also be found in the In box in the Mercell communications module.

It is recommended that the offer be submitted well before the deadline. Should there be additional information from the FMOA indicating that the offer must be changes, you can go in and open the offer, make any changes and resubmit right up until the tender deadline. Only the last complete tender delivered will then be valid.
