Hire of a system for a wireless network and print outs for use in written private candidate examinations

Oslo kommune Utdanningsetaten v/EFT Kompetanse

The private candidate office in Oslo annually arranges more than 25 000 written examinations in the Vallhall Arena/Oslo and Ekeberg Hall/Oslo premises.
The maximum number per examination day in Vallhall Arena is 2 500 candidates, in Ekeberg Sports Hall the maximum number of candidates is 1 500.
There is a need to establish a system for access to a wireless network with possibilities for digital submission and print outs of the private candidate's replies, which, when fully developed, shall be able to serve up to 2 500 simultaneous users. The print outs need will vary significantly from up to 1 500-2 000 print outs (average) 2-3 sides) a few days in each examination period down to less than 100 print outs per day.
The system is based on each candidate have their own computer that can be connected to the wireless network, where one can manage and monitor the candidate's internet access and where they can upload and submit their replies digitally in the Directorate of Education's exam administration system PGS or as a paper print out from the computer.
