The assignment is for a total renovation of Pastor Fangens vei 22. The planned alteration will establish, amongst other things, 29 flats that fulfil the Housing Bank of Norway's requirements. Openings are to be made in the support walls to join the current one room residences, door openings, window openings and escape staircases are to be expanded. All technical installations are to be replaced including the lift. The facade is to be demolished and replaced with a new climate wall.The building is to be upgraded in accordance with the current building regulations, requirements for universal design, the Housing Bank of Norway's requirements for welfare accommodation and Oslo municipality's specifications for welfare accommodation (FKOK).The strategic environment plan for Omsorgsbygg requires the environment certification BREEAM NOR with the minimum requirement ‘Very good’ for the project.
