The project consists of widening the existing road, excavation and expansion of the side slopes within the widened road's safety zone, etc. The distance is about 7 km from about km 26.540 to km 33.400. AADT on the route is approximately 2000, of which heavy vehicles comprises approximately 20 %. County Road 24 acts as bypass for E6 and during accidents or closures of the E6, and at such times the traffic volumes increase greatly and rapidly on this stretch of road.

Scaling of rock surface: Approx. 9 500 m².
Blasting along the line: Approx. 21,500 m³.
Block reduction: (1.0 to 10 m³); Approx. 1 400 blocks.
Excavation of marshes and other unusable masses: Approx. 7 000 m³.
Removal of existing asphalt: Approx. 43,800 m².
Reinforcement layer, mass: Approx. 19,000 m³.
Base course soils: Approx. 6,000 m³, 2–32 mm and about 5,500 m³ of crushed asphalt (AK)
Post-removal crushing of removed asphalt: Approx. 9,000 tons.
Binder Agb11 (asphalt, 11-mm gravel, cement: Approx. 53,500 m².
Wearing course Ab 11 (asphalt, cement; 11-mm particle size ): Approx. 53,200 m².
Exit lanes: Approx. 311 meters.
Concrete culverts (of varying sizes): Approx. 800 metres
Fibre cloth: 5,000 m².
Geotextile: 5,000 m².
