Framework agreement for Application operation and further development of the transaction reporting system (TRS) as well as possible additional professional systems connected to the securities sector
The Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA) receives large amounts of data from security brokers as a result of corporate reporting obligations. It is expected that the reporting will increase in scope in the future. Therefore the FSA intends to enter into an agreement for application operation and testing/further development of the transaction reporting system, development and operation of any new systems in the securities sector, as well as consulting and other related services.
This means daily operation and maintenance of solutions, testing and installation of new versions, adaptation of new versions according to. The FSA's particular requirements well as participation in user groups for solutions. Some participation in international user groups must be expected.
The need for the development of new systems will depend on the extent of the reporting obligation in upcoming legislation and whether or not the FSA enters into agreements with other authorities to collaborate on the development of the current systems. Applicable regulations will, among other things to be able to include disclosure of settlement information from Trade Repositories in EMIR. It is likely that there will be a need for multiple accounting systems during the period of the agreement.
