Food and food deliveries to Tromsø municipality

Tromsø municipality would like to enter into a contract for dinners and dry products for nursing homes, day centres, cafes for elderly persons etc. and dinners for service recipients living at home for delivery to Tromsø municipality.
The contract is for the purchase and delivery of a total of about 226 080 dinner-sized portions annually. Of this approx. 172 080 portions shall be delivered to institutions etc. and approx. 54 000 portions shall be delivered to service recipients living at home. In addition there are dry products to 432 nursing home places, of which 25 are sheltered accommodation flats.
The dinners are to be delivered in dinner trolleys whilst the dry food is to be delivered in boxes.
In addition new places will be established in 2014.
Attention is drawn to the fact that the need will increase in the coming years.
The main principle for dinners to institutions etc. is cook cool and sous vide produced food where this is appropriate, for example potatoes and stews from industry, whilst the main principle for dinners to service recipients living at home is cook/cool produced food.
Menu
The service provider shall offer two alternative optional menus daily. It shall be possible to choose between a fish dish and a meat dish daily. In addition to 2 optional menus, there must be a wanted diet menu with 4-5 dishes, including rice porridge and stew.
The actual procurement is divided up into 3 groups:
Group 1: Production and delivery of dinners (cold food) to nursing homes, day centres and sheltered accommodation flats/communal residences.
Group 2: Production and delivery of dinners (cold food) to service recipients living at home.
Group 3: Delivery of dry products to nursing homes, day centres and sheltered accommodation flats/communal residences. Dry products means a sufficient selection of food and drink products for the other meals in the day.
