Public building - renovation and welfare building.
Gjerdrum municipality shall expand the capacity for nursing home places by constructing 24 new nursing home places with the accompanying communal areas, day centre and offices connected to the existing Gjerdrum residential and treatment centre. Some of the existing building shall be demolished, including the central kitchen.
— 4 kitchen fittings in the existing nursing home shall be replaced. These must be completed and in use before the existing central kitchen is demolished in order to maintain the running of the existing nursing home in the construction period.
— Demolition of existing buildings, including a central kitchen, as shown in the attached demolition drawings.
— Construction of a new building — approx. 3 200 m² gross.
— Renovation of parts of the existing premises — approx. 830 m².
— Development of outdoor areas, including roads, open spaces and new car ports.
