The Ministry of Justice and Public Security would like an evaluation of the new criminal sanctions Juvenile Sentence and Juvenile Sanction. The aim of the evaluation is to get continuous knowledge of the implementation process for the contracting authority and the implementation operators so that they can learn during the process.. The lessons learnt shall, amongst other things, form the basis to create a “best practice” in the area. Information shall also be sought as to whether all the parts of the implementation are built on and make use of the principles for restorative justice. Furthermore the aim is to examine whether the reactions contribute to reaching the objective of reduced re-offending as well as mapping other positive effects. We would also like to find out whether the reactions contribute to taking care of victims and relatives in a good way. Another purpose of the evaluation is to examine whether the implementation rules for the reactions are suitable designed and whether the practical implementation is set up in the best possible way in each case.
