Contract Work consists mainly of two livestock underpasses in Profile 1985 and Profile 225, river channel repositioning, and a new bridge foundation independent from the old bridge in Profile 620. New bridge consisting of poured-in-placed concrete. Blasting, work support, permanently secure the cut at a height of 10 m in the area at Profiles 510–690. Establish new road embankments, relocation of drainage pipes, stream intakes and culverts, junction redevelopment and creation of new local roads where these structures conflict with traffic.
In addition six structures must be removed in connection with the road diversion. Establish a bicycle & walkway along the entire stretch and a cable ditch for road lighting and high & low voltage wires and possible telecommunication cables according to drawings. Plant vegetation in accordance with O drawings as well as a part of the plan for the natural re-planted vegetation area, blasting, earthwork transport and asphalt works associated with the road construction.
Installing a complete road- illumination system, railings, signage and marking of road sections. There is an estimated 18 months' construction time (see the schedule in the D 2.2). Start-up is scheduled before the summer holiday in 2014 with the final deadline in winter (Dec. 2015). There are also several interim deadlines to control the latest possible date for paving work and working around green spaces.
It is assumed that there will be some work associated with the relocation of low and high voltage electrical and telecommunication lines, drilling and noise measures that must be carried out simultaneously with the completion of the road project.
The project will be carried out from Profile -52 to (approximately) Profile 2450.
