Eikefjord barne- og ungdomsskule will be developed and rehabilitated according to the following principles:
a) Middle building between the school wing and the gymnasium will be demolished and replaced with a new middle building.
b) Extension consisting of 2 wings will be built onto the existing school wing, and in the western gable smaller demolitions to adapt extensions to the existing building.
c) All roof structures are to be demolished and replaced with new roof structures.
d) Entrances will be built over with lightweight roofing.
e) The pavilion building will be upgraded, also with the renewal of the air treatment system and sprinkler system.
f) Outside areas will be upgraded with new ball games area, new parking and new traffic areas, improved play areas as well as various preparations for access and play areas, with ramps,terrain walls, play and rest furniture etc.
