e-learning program about information security for managers

Difi invites to tender competition for the delivery of an e-learning program about information security for managers and decision makers.
Traditional training activities within information security tend to have a "one size fits all" approach. This means that you runt eh same program for all employees in the organisation, usually with focus on the end users. There is little focus directed to the management and on security as a strategic tool for the organisation. At the same time the needs assessments Difi has carried out point to that management anchoring is a major challenge for those who work with information security in the organisations.
With the use of e-learning we have the possibility to offer an expertise development initiative which is flexible in time and location. This makes the form of learning especially suitable for managers, who are busy and seldom have time and opportunity to participate in courses of longer duration and which are at set times. The e-learning program shall be able to stand alone, but should also be able to be used as an addition to the organisations internal education initiatives within information security (blended learning).
The program will be offered to all government organisations in Norway, but can also be offered to the wider public sector, including municipalities. The program can also be made accessible outside of the public sector.
The program content shall be in Norwegian, and working language in the project will be Norwegian.
