Digital radio communications framework agreement for equipment and establishing of communications and maintenance of the existing systems

The purpose of this radio procurement is to have an agreement so that digital radio communication can be used in safety or emergency response situations, or to make the daily work easier. Radio communications are established or shall be established at a variety of remote stations. Radio communication is used first and foremost as emergency communication, but is also used in daily operations at some of the foreign embassies.
The radios must be able to make emergency calls directly to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Utenriksdepartementet).
In addition to establishing new solution, a maintenance agreement shall be established for the communications which will be established and the already established communications. Some of these are still analogue.
Use of radios in crisis or large events is also being assessed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Utenriksdepartementet) in Oslo. This will be an option in the agreement. 1 sees then for themselves that they are connected to an established network in down town Oslo.
