Detailed designing of expansion of treatment plant

Ringerike municipality's Technical operation, Development together with Cowi AS prepared a pilot project for the expansion of Monserud treatment plant. The pilot project report is attached.
Monserud treatment plant is nearing it's capacity limit and has problems with sludge treatment. To meet the planned development projects and increased population growth in Hønefoss and it's surrounding, the current plant shall be expanded by a bio stage and measure for sludge treatment, and the first stage of a new treatment plant will be constructed next to the existing plant, with a capacity of 24 000 pe. Arrangements shall be made for a later expansion of a second building stage to a total capacity for the new plant of 36 000 pe.
The municipality mainly wants assistance for detailed designing and following up in the construction period for the following:
Compliment the existing treatment plant with a bio stage.
Carry out, as discussed in the pilot project, building stage 1 for the new treatment plant.
Technical solution recommended in the preliminary report is adopted in the municipality, and it is these solution that shall be detail designed.
