VEAS shall reconstruct the remaining two of eight processing halls for nitrogen removal. The discussion concerns comprehensive and complex work which will involve several disciplines. The two halls to be reconstructed currently (April 2014) have the designation "SED 5" and "SED 6" and are used for chemical removal of phosphorous by increased water flow due to rainfall. After the reconstruction the two halls will contain both a chemical purification stage and subsequent biological purification stage for removal of nitrogen, and the two processing halls will be designated "PHA 5" and "PHA 6". The reconstruction is planned to be completed during 2019. During the reconstruction of the two process halls, shall VEAS' facility be operational in the usual manner the whole time.
