The project is a sub-project in Bypakke Bodø in Bodø Municipality. Based on the adopted development plan (adopted 12.12.2013) the prepared complete construction plan shall be on a competitive basis (drawings, description and bill of quantities) and working drawings/documentation for new pedestrian-bicycle path underpass along Hwy 80 at the intersection of Hunstad Centre. The present background documents need to be considered, and the provider may need to initiate additional studies. All temporary and permanent measures must be included in the plan. Interfaces and adaptations to adjacent areas and infrastructures must be presented in detail. All temporary measures necessary to implement the project must be detailed. All planning should be done in close cooperation with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. The contractor shall have a well-knit design team with the necessary expertise in road design, design of bridges and structures, electrical work (or energy, telecommunications and automation), water and sewage, geotechnical engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, environmental impact minimisation, etc.Key elements of the project:— 400 m pedestrian/bicycle path along Hwy 80, of which approx. 32 m. in a culvert. Determine whether there should be clear separation between pedestrians and cyclists, as well as marking out the direction for cyclists. Related to this, pay special attention to how to implement adaptations to existing facilities.— 100 m pedestrian/cycle path from pedestrian/cycle path along Hwy and 80 towards Hunstad Centre.— 15 m walking access from the PB-path to the Shell [station].— Design of the terrain adjacent to the pedestrian/cycle paths and culvert. Measures to preserve green spaces, aesthetics and minimal intervention in the landscape must be emphasised. Measures to prevent the spread of unwanted species must be described. Landscape architect expertise is required in shaping elements of the project. Coordinate with other disciplines/consultants to best ensure the project design.— Relaying of existing water and sewage pipes and design of new drainage ditch with conduit routes and pipes, handling of stormwater including pump, pumping station and sump pump with associated controls, piping to municipal storm water network, sand traps, manholes. Also includes description/design of interim solutions during the construction phase. Planning of drainage solution for pumping station must be coordinated with Bodø municipality.— The assignment includes quality assurance of mapped, existing pipes and design of new routes.— The Dev.plan contains proposed phase plans with temporary traffic solutions. The plans must be optimised and detailed. A description of the work is required with regards to restoration of the intersection including lighting systems after the culvert work is completed. It will be important for the solution to ensure accessibility and safety.— In-situ culvert: length 31.5 m, width 5 m, free height 3.5 m.— Vertical wall facing Hwy 80 with guardrails impervious to ploughed snow.— Sheet pile facing Hwy 80 - temporary construction to minimise interference with current Hwy 80.— Dry masonry wall facing the Shell station.— Aesthetic and functional design of structures. It is assumed that a sketch phase will be carried out to provide guidelines for the design of the structure. Proposals shall be submitted to the contracting authority for approval.— Existing electrical and communication cables must be re-positioned. The assignment includes mapping of existing pipes and design of new routes.Provision of electricity to the pumping station including management to storm water removal from the culvert. Also includes description/design of temporary solutions during the construction phase. The cabinet for pump control must be placed not to comprise an obstacle to pedestrians.— Coordinate control systems for pumping station towards Bodø municipality.— Lighting system. Aesthetic and functional design of lighting systems in the culvert, and change/adaptation/completion of existing road lighting.— Consideration shall be paid to whether it is necessary to perform additional drilling to map the rock surface in the culvert and possibly the sheet pile area. If sheet piles are to be used, all temporary and/or permanent sheet pile solutions must be planned in detail.— Assessment of noise during the construction phase and especially in relation to the sheet piling must be considered. Additionally, even the noise associated with other works must be assessed in relation to the required constraints stated in the tender documents.— Preparation of a SHE plan and Outer Environment plan for the execution phase. The contract also includes monitoring during construction and preparation of as-built drawings.
