County Hwy. 33 Skreifjella – Totenvika. Contract: County Hwy 33. Langsletta – Totenvika Church

Statens vegvesen Region øst

The contract is for the construction of 7.2 kilometrrs of road on County Hwy 33 between Langsletta (P.3150) and Totenvika Church (P.10.200). The work will take place on and along existing County Hwy 33. The new road will be built in accordance to design class S2 and with a 0.85 m frost protection layer.
In addition, a 5.5 km pedestrian/bike path with 3 meter intermediate ditch alongside County Hwy 33 is to be constructed.
From Fjellhaug (P.4.600) to Totenvika School (approx. P.9.800) a new municipal water and wastewater system will be built.
A stormwater system and deep drainage along the entire route is included.
The contract also includes work for cable companies with re-laying of electrical and telecommunication wires.

Providers who are newly established companies who cannot submit references, must be particularly careful to demonstrate that they have the ability to carry out the contract. The tenderer shall report their company formation and employee expertise. Planned organisation for the assignment and CV s for key personnel in the project organisation are extremely important. This also applies for companies that merge or are acquired by another company during the tendering process.

If the tenderer is a joint venture (supplier consortium), a declaration of joint liability to the General Contractor and third parties must be submitted with the tender,cf. Section 3 below, as well as a statement should be given for of the business form and the composition of the working partnership including the participants' organisation numbers. Providers must make sure to document how the skills requirements shall be met by the participants. Furthermore, each individual participating company in the working partnership must provide information on their company as is required in the tender documentation. Joint ventures will be assessed collectively for all eligibility requirements except HSE and own equity. Each participant will be individually evaluated for HSE and equity.

Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:

The tenderer's annual average turnover should be at least as large as the annual revenues the contract will generate.

Tenderers are required to have positive equity. If the tenderer is a working partnership (supplier group), the requirements apply for each of the participants.

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:

The tenderer shall have experience from work of the same nature and degree of difficulty.

The tenderer is required to show references to relevant contracts that they themselves have carried out in a satisfactory manner.

Conditions which will be evaluated are related to amongst other things:

— documentation of completed quality,

— fulfilment of contracts,

— compliance with provisions and procedures for HSE,

— compliance with provisions for wages and working conditions,

— compliance of deadlines,

— follow up during the warranty/claims period.

Any assessment forms from previously completed contracts can also be included in the basis for the evaluation.

Kontraktutførelse
Innskudd og garantier som kreves:

Security shall be furnished by a bank, insurance company or other financial institution approved by the Project Owner. Accepted security includes the guarantee amount placed in escrow for the benefit of the Project Owner. Interest accrues to the contractor.

For consortiums, security shall be provided on behalf of the consortium, not the individual participating companies.
