Consulting assistance for the execution of Lean

Elverum kommune

In the period 2014 – 2016, Elverum kommune will implement an efficiency and quality development process with the help of the Lean concept in specific selected work processes/service production processes in the municipality. The initiative is part of the planned development project «Continual improvement in Elverum kommune – service production and purchase of goods and services».
Elverum kommune seeks consulting assistance for the planning, education, implementation and monitoring of Lean in the municipality in the period 2014 – 2016. The consultant(s) will be responsible for planning of how Lean shall be introduced, education of Lean-supervisors and chosen leaders in the municipality, and will together with the Lean-supervisors and the leaders have the responsibility to carry out Lean in the selected work processes/service production processes (pilot processes) and monitor how the implementation is going.
The work will be organised as part of the combined and planned development project «Continual improvement in Elverum kommune – service production and purchase of goods and services», based at the alderman, and with a special steering committee and project manager. The consultant(s) will participate in a project group which shall work on process efficiency.
The purpose of the procurement is to streamline the chosen work processes so that they contribute to a target and desired efficiency gains for the municipality, and secondly to make Elverum kommune themselves able to continue the implementation of the Lean-methodology throughout the entire organisation after 2016.
