Capacity expansion Buvik school

The background for the project is the need for a capacity increase and adaptations for the teaching in the primary school in Buvika. The project consists of a capacity expansion for Buvik school. The school's capacity shall be 588 pupils after the completed project. The current number of pupils at Buvik school is 324 pupils.
The total estimated area in the new building is approx. 3 200 m² gross.
A minor part of the current school shall be demolished to make room for the new building. The rest of the current school shall be altered. The alterations will be an option in the contract.
The aim of the competition is to get a cooperation partner for Skaun municipality with the necessary ability and competence to assist the municipality in getting a good preliminary project for the capacity expansion at Buvik school, thereafter the detailed engineering design services and the construction of the school site.
An interaction contract with an open book and incitement has been chosen as the execution model for the project.
