Oslo University Hospital, Department of Medical Biochemistry, The National Hospital has for several years devoted substantial resources to establishing, accrediting and CE-marking a number of genetic routine analysis on the existing LightCycler 480 instrument.
Oslo University Hospital, Department for Medical Biochemistry, The National Hospital extends invitation for competition for procurement of 1 system for robotised pipetting and nucleic acid extraction. The Robot-system shall be able to pipette sample materials from primary tubes for nucleic acid extraction (Step 1: pre-extraction), extracting nucleic acids (Step 2: extraction) and pipette eluates from nucleic acid extraction and PCR-reagents for suitable trays for real-time analysis (Step 3: pre-PCR). Due to the established, accredited and CE-marked routine analysis on the existing LightCycler 480 instrument the robot system must be compatible with the PCR instrument LightCycler 480 (Step 4: PCR-analysis), as well as be able to communicate with the laboratory information system used by the department.
