We require various gifts/prizes and profiling articles for marketing the department's and Oslo municipality's commitments. Examples of such projects are the signal green caps that are annually given to all first years at the start of the school year so that the children can be seen more easily by motorists. In addition there is a need for prizes in competitions and gifts for cooperation partners or visitors to the Town Environment Department and to Rusken's various projects and activities. The contracting authority's aim is to ensure safety and quality and to ensure that the gift and profiling articles are environmentally friendly products. Suppliers shall, therefore, follow the correct certifications, deliver products that are or high quality, that tolerate use and wear as well as document the production and supplier chain.

The aim of this procurement is to ensure efficient and easy access to products for use as prizes, gifts and profiling for the contracting authority's various campaigns and activities. One of the characteristics of a framework agreement is that the assignments and the volume of assignments are not concretised when the contract is signed. These premises are the actual core in the terms for framework agreements. Call-offs will take place as and when the contracting authority's needs materialise. This premise is known by both parties and it involves a risk that the amount of assignments will deviate from the above mentioned estimate — both positively and negatively. Suppliers must be aware that changes in the financial and/or political framework terms can lead to the estimated amount of assignments being increased/reduced. See the tender documentation, specifications (annex 1) and the price form (annex 3) for further information on examples of products or the procurement's content and extent.
