2014 Procurement and administration of Microsoft licences

Nordland county, hereafter called the contracting authority, would like to enter into a framework agreement for the administration with the procurement and/or hire of licences for all Microsoft products. The aim is to achieve a dynamic and scalable licence portfolio that is adapted to the technological development and the organisation's need. The contracting authority would also like to achieve lower procurement, maintenance and administration costs for software and licences from Microsoft.
The contracting authority refers to the prior information notice dated 10/5/14 for further information on the background for the choice of Microsoft products.
The contract has an estimated annual value of approx. 4 million NOK. This is only an estimate and is not binding.
The term of the framework agreement will be 2 years. The contracting authority has an option to extend the contract on the same terms for 2 years. Notice cannot be given on the contract for two years unless the contract terms on breach of contract are applied. After this the contract has a unilateral notice period of 3 months. If notice is not given on the contract after 21 months, it will automatically be extended for a further 24 months. After 48 months the contract will expire without prior notice.
