UiN is an expanding university and it is an important institution in Bodø and for Nordland County. In order to have facilities to satisfy future students and employees, UiN needs to expand the buildings. Construction stage 6A is the first construction stage included in a major expansion of the Campus Bodø.Construction stage 6A primarily includes meeting rooms (first floor) and office premises for the administration (second and third floors). This is an important part of the increased efficiency of the university as the administration will be in one place.Statsbygg is the builder of the project.
