The project's extent and progress:
Tonsenhagen school consists of 4 buildings constructed from 1963 to 1997. Buildings A, B, C and D have two floors and are constructed out of brick.
Number of classes and employees: The school currently is a primary school for 1st - 7th years with two parallel classes in each year. In autumn 2014 the school shall have three parallel classes in each year.
The project consists of expanding the existing school from 2 to 3 parallel classes. The school currently has a clear division between the infants and juniors. The expansion will build on this principle by establishing an extension for Building A and an extension for Building D so that the home areas are supplemented with new classrooms. The existing areas are to be affected as little as possible. A new gym hall shall be constructed close to the infants and the activity school so that there can be active joint use of areas.
The existing school has the following gross areas:
Building A (main building) constructed 1963/1995 3,119.5 m²
Buildings B and C constructed 196 1,701.5 m²
Building D constructed 1963/1997 1,068.7 m²
Total area: 5,889.7 m²
The project consists of the following new built areas:
Building A, library + traffic area/lift 208.0 m²
Building B 124.5 m²
Building D including glass bridge 516.0 m²
Building E 960.0 m²
Technical room on the roof of buildings D and E 242.5 m²
Total new construction 2,051.2 m²
The areas that will be altered/renovated in the project are 997 m² and the areas with new ventilation and ceilings are 297 m².

Credit rating, not older than 6 months, based on the last known accounting figures. The entire credit rating report shall be enclosed and it shall include the key figures for the last three accounting years. The rating shall be carried out by a publicly certified credit rating institution. The awarding authority reserves the right to obtain its own credit rating if necessary. If a contractor has valid reasons as to why he cannot prove his financial position in accordance with the above mentioned documentation requirements, the awarding authority will consider other appropriate documentation.

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:

— An overview of contracts carried out in the last 5 years, together with certificates of satisfactory execution for the most important works. The certificates shall state the work's value, and the date and place of execution and to what extent the work was carried out professionally and properly. A reference person shall be given and Undervisningsbygg is allowed to contact this person.

— Information on the education and professional qualifications at the contractor and the company's administrative management (competence matrix).

— An account of the contractor's average work strength and the number of employees in the administrative management n the last 3 years.

— Central certification in development class 2 or a statement that the company is qualified for local certification.

— Certificate for the company's quality assurance system/control system issued by independent bodies that confirm that the contractor fulfils certain quality assurance standards, e.g. ISO 9001.2002.

The awarding authority will also accept other documentation that shows that the contractor has equivalent quality assurance measures.

— An account of existing routines or a valid certificate from a third party verified system (e.g. Miljøfyrtprn, ISO 14001, EMAS).
