The delivery of road treatment materials for winter road maintenance

Bærum kommune

The municipality of Bærum, the road and traffic division, request bids for the delivery of fine crushed stones and sand for winter road maintenance for the winter seasons between 2013 to 2017. The bids shall be for the delivered masses to the necessary silos. Given that this involves 2 tasks, the delivery and the transport of the masses, the bidders are free to enter into collaborations for providing the services under the contract. Refer to section 3.4.
The deliveries include fine crushed rocks of 4-8 and 2-4. The average annual supply of 0-8 sand during the last 5 years has been approximately 5 700 tons (per year) and for 4-8 fine crushed rocks the average annual delivery has been approximately 4 500 tons (per year).
During this contract period the Awarding Authority will replace 0-8 with 2-4 and assume that 0-8 will not be used, but request a price for this in the bid so that we can order if necessary.
