System for conference administration

NTNU, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, currently uses the conference management system Events. The system is based on Microsoft technology which shall be phased out . On the background of this and with regard to the Public Procurement Act the Awarding Authority plans to announce the tender competition for a new conference management system.
The new conference management system
shall maintain the corresponding functionality that the current system has, including the handling of abstracts / paper applied with scientific conferences.
The conference management system shall be a support tool for the employees of the Awarding Authority with the job of managing scientific conferences, seminars, workshops and congresses, participants (registration, cancellations, information, reminders), exhibitors, abstracts / papers, information and interaction preceding the, during the implementation (information for the participants) and after the event is completed (evaluations, statistics , invoicing).
The system shall be flexible, user-friendly and accessible., Combined with the Awarding Authority's requirements for reliability, data security and cost control.
On a general level, has the Awarding Authority an expectation that the proposed product represents today's current technology level, and that they offer all the features that are considered standard within conference management systems.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
The duration of the contract is 4 years. with an option for the Awarding Authority to extend the contract for an additional 2+2 years with the existing contract terms. Throughout the contract period (including the options period) it shall be possible to purchase of new licenses,new functionality, as well as development and customization of services and software throughout the contract period (including the options period)
