The Stavanger Regional Health Authority HF shall unify all of their departments and hereby invites suppliers to the tender competition in connection with the construction of the Stavanger Region Psychiatric Centre, henceforth referred to as Stavanger DPS.
The existing project includes a 4 level building with a gross area of approx. 4 4500 m2 (6 070 m2, including the basement). The two first floors contain 24 hours departments with capacity for 15 residential units in each floor. The ground floor shall also containn unit for the ambulance service team (AME). The floors above will contain out-patients clinics, General Psychiatric Out-patients clinic in the second floor and Group out-patients clinic, in parts of the 2. floor and the entire 4. floor. The basement shall include a parking facility, technical rooms and changing rooms for employees.
The works shall be executed as divided contracts with the following segmentation:
B02 Foundation, concrete and outdoor works, including technical infrastructure-subject to contracting.
B03 Roofing.
B04 Steel works, stairs.
A05 Carpentry works and sunshading devices.
A06 Aluminium works.
A07 Painting and flooring.
V08 Piping and ventilation works.
E09 Electric power and tele-engineering.
E10 Lift - subject to contracting.

The contractor awarded the contract for the carpentry work (A5) is considered as the general contractor. The general contractor is assigned to coordinate the safety and work environment in accordance with the Employment Protection Act's (BHF) § 18 .The general contractor shall also be liable for implementing the assignments in accordance with the Builder Owner Regulations' § 13 and ensure that the regulation's §§ 14 and 15 are complied with.In practice this means that the general contractor (HB) shall plan, facilitate and coordinate all Safety, health and work environment requirements at the construction site. This shall be accordance with separate routines for execution and in accordance with the Safety, health and work environment schedule. See also annex with specified description of extent.
