Purchase of GNSS-receivers for til scintillation monitoring

Norwegian Mapping Authority has developed a service for monitoring ionospheric disturbances at high latitudes in Europe in real time.
This service provides, amongst other things, an overview map of total electron content (VTEC) and the rate of TEC index (ROTI) based on data from more than 140 geodetic receivers.
Norwegian Mapping Authority wishes to increase monitoring of scintillations in Norway with a real-time scintillation monitoring network. In this connection, we wish to purchase receivers. We will buy an estimated 8 to 10 receivers depending on the price, with an option on several receivers next year up to the same number.
These receivers will be used for real-time monitoring of scintillation indices characterizing the intensity of the phase and amplitude scintillations. The receivers shall provide binary output messages in real time containing GNSS observability.
The receivers will mainly be placed on geodetic stations and will mainly be connected to an antenna splitter.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:

Award authority shall have the right to purchase up to the same volume as the contract includes. Any extension of the contract shall be implemented no later than 6 months after contract signing.
