Procurement 204/2012 Equipment for emergency water supply

The Oslo region has a need for a solution for emergency water supply. In order to increase the security of the water supply, the municipality has been working on establishing water pipelines both internally and over the municipality borders. The municipalities can therefore have more secure water supply from several regions, access to several water sources and water treatment installations that more or less can replace each other. A total lack of water provision over a large area is therefore less and less likely, but the County Governor has however asked about the water supply's function if there is a power cut for 4 and 7 days.
The amount of emergency water and the area covered are not clearly defined in the laws and regulations. The necessary water need to survive is 2.5 - 3 litres per person per 24 hours, but if water for hygienic purposes is taken into consideration, 10-15 litres per person per 24 hours is seen as a minimum.
The project's proposal for the dimensioned capacity is 10000 persons and 15 litres per person per 24 hours, i.e. 150 m3 water per 24 hours.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
An option is planned in the provisional specifications that are attached to the qualification documents for the procurement of further containers, as well as further transport tanks with assembled pumps. Emphasis is put on the fact that the specifications are only a provisional version.
