Procurement 2013 - 3086 Analysis equipment with consumables Blood Bank Molde Hospital

Helse Møre og Romsdal HF

The tender is for fully automatic analysis equipment and a four year framework agreement for 1+1+1 year for the necessary consumables in accordance with the specifications for the Medical Biochemistry Department, Blood Bank Section, Molde. The total period of 7 years is equivalent to the lifetime that the choice of tenderer will be based on.
The equipment shall be used for pre-transfusion screening and other blood type serological screening at the blood bank in Molde. The most important areas of use are ABO/Rh(D) typing and antimatter screening of routine samples from patients as well as ABO/Rh(D) typing and genotyping of blood donors.
In addition tenders are wanted for the necessary equipment for manual back-up for use in any operational stoppage of the instrument.
Equivalent equipment can be procured for the blood bank in Kristiansund. We would like an option priced for Kristiansund Hospital. This option will not be included in the evaluation.
Attention is drawn to the fact that the instrument must be able to be connected 'on-line' with 2 way communication to our blood bank system ProSang, or to our laboratory system (NSL). A price of 50 000 NOK has been obtained from Tieto Enator for the establishmnet of the protocol that will enable other instruments to communicate with the same functionality that currently exists. This replacement cost will be included in the calculation of the lifetime costs for the relevant instrument. Alternatively, tenderers can include this cost in their tender, which in practice means that the tenderer is invoiced for this cost in arrears. Attention is drawn to the fact that HMR HF cannot influence the size of this 'replacement cost', which, for the investment and consumption for 4 (1+1+1) years makes up a very minor part of the total costs.
The delivery shall include all components/accessories, disassembly, assembly/installation and commissioning so that it functions as a whole based on the described needs and requirements.
Necessary training of all personnel who work in the affected unit must be included.
