Peat and hired packing of Oslo compost, Tiger earth and Cover chips

In order to process the garden waste in an environmental reliable manner, the garden waste is composted and sold mainly to private households in Oslo, by REN, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority. The objective of the sale is to estimate and market waste sorting by selling the products named Oslo compost, Tiger earth and Cover chips.
Oslo compost comprises composted park and garden waste. Tiger earth comprises composted park and garden waste blended with Q compost, peat, and added mineral fertiliser. Cover chips comprises splintered tree trunks and roots which are heat treated and fractioned.
All products are approved by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority and the Awarding Authority ensures that the requirements from the Norwegian Food Safety Authority are safeguarded.
The Awarding Authority transports Q compost and Cover chips to the Supplier. The Supplier shall blend Q compost, peat and mineral fertiliser to the product Tiger earth and pack the product. Cover chips and Oslo compost shall be packed in sacks and labelled with logo.
The sacks shall be sold at local recycling stations as a part of Oslo municipality's goal regarding increased material recovery.
The production is dependent on seasons and sales, and consequently the procurement volume will vary. Moreover, the Awarding Authority develops new products which may be on the market during the contract period.
Flexibility in connection with packing may therefore be required (volume, weight, and printing). See requirement specification; annex 1 for further description of services and extent.

All communication regarding the procurement shall be via the procurement portal. Questions in relation to the tender contest and submitting tenders shall not be via the portal
